The Couple

Lulu & Sam met at their workplace and have been together for 8 years. You can feel the calm that surrounds these two. They’re just happy being together, the most pure genuine love. Lulu was the sweetest bride, very relaxed and just wanting their wedding to be wholesome and lots of fun.

The Proposal

Sam proposed on a walk through the Botanical Gardens in the stunning city of Osaka, Japan. What a trip to remember!

The Venue

Penrith Regional Art Gallery provided the most lush garden backdrop for their ceremony and reception. With the added touches of sculptures around the grounds, the venue has so many fabulous photo locations.

The Highlights

Their cocktail style wedding made for such a relaxed reception and great atmosphere. Lulu & Sam were married in the venue’s succulent garden, and had potted succulents as favours for all of their guests - LOVED this touch. They also had a beautiful long white cake, with red bows and candles to match.

The Hiccups

Honestly, there were none! The rain clouds looked as though they were going to cause us issues but it held off for their ceremony and reception.

Founder & Lead Wedding Coordinator, Managing Matrimony

Jordan founded Managing Matrimony in 2018 after years of coordinating Australian weddings across Sydney, the Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains, and the Central Coast. The platform exists because she kept seeing brides juggle spreadsheets, vendor emails, and half-finished runsheets the week of the wedding — there had to be a calmer way. These posts distil what she's learned from hundreds of weddings: what to book when, what actually matters, and how to make your day feel like a celebration rather than a logistics exercise.
