The Ginger Group at The National Arboretum Canberra

The Ginger Group is a Canberra catering company, established in 2002 and based at the National Arboretum Canberra, where it caters weddings, corporate events and private functions across venues including the Village Centre, the Margaret Whitlam Pavilion and the Terrace Room and Discovery Garden. The kitchen follows a paddock-to-plate approach, sourcing produce locally within roughly a hundred-mile radius. It is led by chef Janet Jeffs, who worked with Maggie Beer at Pheasant Farm, then opened restaurants in the Clare Valley and Canberra, and previously ran Ginger Catering at Old Parliament House.
