Brickendon Estate

Brickendon Estate is a colonial farm village and World Heritage-listed property in Longford, Tasmania, run by descendants of the Archer family who first took up the land in 1824. The site hosts weddings and functions across its 1820s farm buildings, including a chapel, blacksmith's shop and timber barns, set among gardens and farmland. Overnight guests can choose between convict-built historic cottages or the property's rustic, recycled farm cottages. Brickendon shares its World Heritage listing with the neighbouring Woolmers Estate as part of the Australian Convict Sites, and its grounds include farm animals and river frontage.
