A Shot Above The Rest Photography is a wedding and portrait photography studio based in Canberra, run by photographer Melissa Flanagan. The studio brings more than 20 years of experience and has been named Wedding Photographer of the Year for the Canberra region at the Wedding Industry Awards in both 2024 and 2025. The approach favours a relaxed, personal experience aimed at capturing genuine connection rather than heavily directed poses, alongside portrait and family photography including newborn, maternity and christening sessions.
