Something Blue Weddings

As the owner of Something Blue Weddings it is not only my pleasure, but it has for a long time been my dream to join people in celebrating their special day in a way few people can - by being their celebrant. Being a young female it only feels like yesterday that I was saying "I Do" to the man I love. 20 years later and I still look back on my wedding day with great memories. Together with my husband and two young boys we moved from the Central Coast to the Hunter Valley in 2002 and have been enjoying the quieter lifestyle ever since. For the past 14 years I have been busy running businesses in the Hunter Valley winning awards in 2011 for my business services as well as Hunter Business Woman of the Year - Highly Commended. My goal is to make a positive impact in my community and I have been involved in many local charities volunteering at Father Chris Riley's - Youth of The Street Program and I am the founder of ShineWALK180 raising money to see the Shine program implemented in every high school in the Hunter Valley Region. In 2015 I was awarded the Rex Airlines NSW Regional Woman of The Year in NSW Parliament House. I enjoy getting to know the couples I am marrying as not only does it make you a little more relaxed on your special day when you see a friendly face but it also enables me to write a ceremony that is 100% suited to your personalities. I believe that weddings, vow renewals and naming days are all milestones in life worth celebrating. To be a part of any form of ceremony is an honor and a responsibility that I handle with professionalism as well as a large amount of respect and admiration for the people who have chosen to celebrate the most important thing in life...."LOVE".
