La Parrilla is a South American barbecue restaurant, food truck and event caterer based in Ipswich, serving Brisbane and travelling as far as the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. It was founded in 2016 by married couple Sebastian Brun and Carolina Gomez, with head chef Sebastian drawing on time in Bogota to bring Colombian and South American barbecue techniques to the kitchen. The menu centres on slow-cooked and char-grilled meats, including brisket, pulled pork and shredded lamb, served with Latin sides and salsas. Event catering ranges from a la carte service to buffets, gourmet platters, canapes and desserts.
