Mercadante is a wood-fired pizzeria on Lygon Street in Carlton, Melbourne, known locally for its thin-based pizzas and a signature chocolate pizza, alongside steaks, seafood and pasta dishes. Owner Karlos has run the venue for more than twenty years, building a family-friendly atmosphere where children are given paper table covers and pencils while they wait for their meals. Alongside its regular dining service, Mercadante offers catering functions on request, including for group bookings and school excursions, with entertainment included at no extra cost.
