Adoring Alice is a mobile bar business built into a restored vintage caravan, based in Chiltern in North East Victoria and run by Jacob and Alice. The caravan was converted from an old van after the couple restored their own 1875 home in the town, and now travels to weddings and other events across the region. Packages are BYO-alcohol, with RSA-qualified staff serving guests, and include options such as caravan hire, glassware, an ice station and a personalised bar menu, for gatherings of up to eighty guests. The couple work closely with each client to shape the drinks menu and bar styling around their event.

What drinks can you serve?

Does Adoring Alice provide food?
Nope, we stick to drinks! But don’t worry – food vans are always welcome to join the party.
Does Adoring Alice provide tea and coffee?
Unfortunately, we don’t serve tea or coffee, as Adoring Alice isn’t set up for a coffee machine.
Do you need to connect to power and water?
Yes, we need power and water to operate smoothly. If power isn’t available, we can supply a generator for an extra cost.

How much alcohol should I buy?
Great question! We can help you figure out the right amount so your guests never go thirsty. When in doubt, it’s better to have a little extra than to run out – no one likes a dry bar!
Do we need a coolroom?
For events with more than 60 guests, we strongly recommend hiring a coolroom to keep beverages chilled. While we do have a wine fridge and ice buckets, they can’t store all your drinks. A coolroom ensures your guests are served cold drinks and helps our team restock quickly, keeping your event running smoothly.For the Passion Popper package, a coolroom is required, and we ask that all drinks are chilled prior to our arrival. We’re happy to help organise a coolroom, which is included in our Champagne Shower package.
Do you provide table service?
Adoring Alice can certainly offer this service, though we find that people typically love to meet us at the caravan bar! If table service is something you would like, we can provide an additional staff member to roam your event if desired. We still take care of any clearing of empty bottles and glasses around the venue as part of our packages.
What kind of glassware is provided?
We provide a range of glassware including wine glasses (red and white), flutes, tumblers, and stemless glasses for cocktails and spirits. Beer and cider are served in bottles or cans, depending on your preference.
Do you charge for broken glassware?
Accidents happen and sometimes they can be the sign of a great party! We charge a $200 bond for glassware with breakages/loss charged at $2 per glass and deducted from the bond. The remainder of your bond will be refunded within 7 business days after your event.
What happens at the end of your service?
We encourage the party to kick-on!We’ll clean and clear the bar area and leave any leftover drinks in the coolroom or a nominated spot. We can also set up a self-service bar station so your guests can continue enjoying drinks.Depending on your package, you may need to provide tubs, eskies, a table, and some disposable cups so we can transfer drinks from the bar to the self-service station.
Do you dispose of rubbish?
Rubbish disposal is the responsibility of the host. We can offer advice on how to manage bins and recycling if needed.
How far do you travel?
We love a road trip and are happy to travel across the state and interstate.Additional travel charges and accommodation fees may apply.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Of course – we’ve got you (and ourselves) covered! We can provide evidence of this with each booking.
How does payment work?
We will ask for a 30% deposit at the time of your booking. All payment will be due 30 days prior to your event.
Are there any cancellation fees?
Deposits are non-refundable, but once that date is booked it’s yours and yours only. If you need to cancel within 60 days of the event, the full booking fee will be charged.
