Hazel Gymea

Hazel is a wedding venue and restaurant inside the Hazelhurst Arts Centre in Gymea, in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. The venue sits on the site of Ben and Hazel Broadhurst's 1940s Art Deco cottage, now part of the wider Hazelhurst Gallery, and offers garden ceremony locations among magnolias, palm trees and the cottage itself. The reception space holds up to 130 seated guests or 180 for a cocktail-style event, with a marble bar overlooking the dance floor and a deck looking onto the garden. Catering is drawn from Hazel's own kitchen, with shared feasting mains or a roaming canape menu, and dogs are welcome to take part as ring bearers.
