The Couple
Bec & Tim were the sweetest couple, even gifting us one of their homemade limoncello favours. They'd been together 5.5 years as of the wedding day. Bec's vision was a beautiful riverbank ceremony, bows fluttering in the wind. The weather turned it on for them, stunning sunshine and a light breeze. They were so calm, so ready to get married. And it was the most beautiful day.
The Proposal
Bec's stepmum had a 60th birthday trip to Europe, so they went over and joined them for a week in Spain. They made a whole trip out of it and went around Europe for 2 months.
By week 6-7, they went on a picnic (very normal for them) to Cabo da Roca in Portugal (the most western part of Europe) and Tim popped the question with the drone flying beside them capturing the special moment. They then went out to dinner by the beach and celebrated.
The Venue
Bec & Tim chose the stunning Terara Riverside Gardens as they loved the location, and of course the natural features of the greenhouse and the rose garden. Other venues didn't compare in terms of variety and beauty. They really wanted to showcase the riverbank and manicured lawns for their ceremony.
The Highlights
From the perspective of their on-the-day coordinator, the highlights had to be sending Bec down to marry Tim, seeing their guest's faces when they saw their Limoncello seating chart and of course the giant cannoli. They really catered to their guests on their wedding day with custom lawn games and endless Aperol Spritzes and Espresso Martini's.
The Hiccups
The only hiccup that happened was that the guest bus was delayed due to traffic! But overall this didn't affect anything and everything ran to time.

Founder & Lead Wedding Coordinator, Managing Matrimony
Jordan founded Managing Matrimony in 2018 after years of coordinating Australian weddings across Sydney, the Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains, and the Central Coast. The platform exists because she kept seeing brides juggle spreadsheets, vendor emails, and half-finished runsheets the week of the wedding — there had to be a calmer way. These posts distil what she's learned from hundreds of weddings: what to book when, what actually matters, and how to make your day feel like a celebration rather than a logistics exercise.
