My name is Angie Catton and I am a self-confessed Bake-a-holic. I am totally self-taught and have meticulously perfected all my recipes, testing and retesting over a number of years until they are perfect. Through Angie’s Cake Emporium, I aim to delight all customers both retail and wholesale and offer the best tasting, locally made, fresh baked range of custom cakes, muffins and desserts in the Gippsland area. It is very important to me that my cakes look handcrafted, but they must taste amazing as well. I never scrimp on ingredients and you will not find any weird stuff in my cakes, such as words you cannot pronounce or numbers pretending to be ingredients. I source the very best natural ingredients I can find. In ALL of my baking, I only use local Free Range Eggs, Pure Cream, Fresh Whole Milk or Buttermilk, Real Quality Butter, Real Madagascan Vanilla Beans, gorgeous Callebaut Belgian, Nestle or Cadburys Real Chocolate. I have spent years developing my own secret and custom recipes so that your cake with not only look great but it will also taste amazing. My custom cakes are all made to order fresh and from scratch with care, attention and love in a fully registered and licensed commercial kitchen located at 2/26 Shakespeare Street, Traralgon, 3844, Victoria with all the appropriate Public and Product Liability Insurances, whilst also following strict food safety guidelines. I only recommend the use of fresh fruit that is in season. I don’t use any preservatives what-so-ever as I believe that freshness and quality ingredients are the key in baking a fabulous cake that I achieve by sticking to a tight schedule to ensure that your cakes are always made fresh with local ingredients where possible.
