Seagrass has its own special ambience and appeal that is ideal for your wedding day on the beach and is a relaxed private waterfront venue holding up to 200 for a cocktail event or up to 120 for sit down dinner. Situated on the waterfront at Long Point, Sandy Bay Beach with water and panoramic views of the Derwent River and far beyond, caters for casual and formal dining for small to medium functions. Day to day, Seagrass is filled floral and greenery arrangements which makes your styling plan easy. All existing cafe furniture is included as well as organza tablecloths, white napkins and candles . However if you have other requirements our sister venue Glen Albyn Estate has an in-house stylist, who can work with you to create your dream setting. Table centerpieces, overhangs and any other floral are available for a minimal cost. The lawn area in the front of Seagrass is available for your ceremony subject to council and licensing approval. We can organise your permits, supply chairs and signing table for a nominal fee.
