Marlize, owner and head photographer of Just Believe Photography, is an AIPP accredited, award-winning professional wedding photographer based in Adelaide, South Australia. With more than 10 years' experience as professional photographer she captures on average 20 - 30 weddings each year, and numerous families, mums to be and babies throughout Adelaide and its surrounding areas. She has a current DHS Working with Children Clearance. With a strong focus on natural poses and a dash of whimsy thrown in, warm tonality, and true to life colours, Marlize offers clients breathtaking visual keepsakes they can use to relive some of the best moments of their lives. She looks for the unique and beautiful within each and every one of her clients and aims to highlight their individual stories in a fresh, vibrant way. Her aim with her photography is to emphasise the bond of love and the connection between her clients - whether they are a couple on their wedding day, mums and dads with their kids or a young mum with her newborn baby. She has received several outstanding awards for her wedding, maternity and newborn photos. These include multiple International Wedding Photography Awards, Sony Australasia Awards, Rise International Awards, Shine Photo Awards, Legacy Newborn Photography Awards and more! Her newborn photos have been published in Lensational Magazine and in 2023 she was named one of the top 15 newborn photographers by the Legacy Photography Awards Group. As Wedding Photographer she was a finalist in ABIA 2025 (the Australian Bridal Industry Awards) and ranked third in the Australian Wedding Industry Awards (SA) 2025. She was also ranked as one of the three finalists in Legacy International Photography Awards for her wedding photography, and top 15 worldwide for her newborn photography. Marlize has first-hand experience of how to deal with not only the more mature guests at a wedding, but also excited little toddlers and unsettled babies. And no doggy will catch her on the wrong foot having 3 adorable labradors at home. After being married 20 years herself, Marlize is a strong believer in the power of love and family and regards it as a privilege and joy to capture life's special moments.
