The Couple
Trish & Nic brought the energy to their wedding day. Hilarious, outgoing and perfect for each other. They met through their rugby club at a long lunch, and had been together for 7 years. I don’t think either of them stopped smiling the entire day.
The Proposal
Nic proposed on Trish’s birthday at their beautiful home then surprised her with all of their family and close friends to celebrate.
The Venue
The Cove was the right choice for these lovebirds, the venue is surrounded by the national park, complete with it's own private beach. The couple grew up by the water, both members of their local surf clubs so it felt natural. They also had many friends and family members travel from overseas, so a 3-night stay with their loved ones felt perfect to commemorate their love.
The Highlights
The Cove was transformed into Camp Kirby. Newspapers, caps, tote bags, stubby holders, postcards - how good are personalised touches. We still rock our hats on walks 7 months later.
Their guests really dressed to impress. There were sequins, feathers and plenty of colour. Everyone looked fabulous and made so much effort. The disco balls hanging from the trees really leant into the vibes also.
The sun glistened over the water during their ceremony and all 100+ guests were seated to soak it all in. Both grandmothers were witnesses which was super special.
The couple had colourful sunglasses for every guest waiting for them at their seat and they LOVED them.
Their dancefloor was one of the busiest we’ve ever seen. And of course can’t forget their EPIC final song belted out by the guests waving around sparklers.
The Hiccups
The Cove is notorious for its cheeky residents causing chaos. Picture this; kangaroos leaping between our rows of ceremony chairs and tucking into the stunning florals every chance they got.
Review from the couple
I can not recommend Jordan and Managing Matrimony enough! From the moment we booked until the end of our wedding the team was incredible.
Jordan’s meticulous planning between ourselves and our vendors made the day run so smooth and pain free. Any issues that happened on the day were handled swiftly and with us completely unaware, allowing us to enjoy our day totally stress free.
Jordan was incredibly organised on the day, handing us things that we didn’t even think of (the cotton buds in the flowers were the best for the teary eyes!) as well as troubleshoot things like the makeup stain on a bridesmaids dress. She also had a margarita on standby whenever I started looking a little overwhelmed, which was a godsend.
We received the most perfect pictures with their help, directing the photographers to what we wanted, organised family photos (and hunted down family who had wandered to the cocktails early) and told everyone how to use their sparklers for the perfect sparkler exit shot.
Jordan and Michael went above and beyond to make our day truely special, and brought the absolute vibes along with it!
Thank you, you absolute legends ❤️

Jordan
Founder & Lead Wedding Coordinator, Managing Matrimony
Jordan founded Managing Matrimony in 2018 after years of coordinating Australian weddings across Sydney, the Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains, and the Central Coast. The platform exists because she kept seeing brides juggle spreadsheets, vendor emails, and half-finished runsheets the week of the wedding — there had to be a calmer way. These posts distil what she's learned from hundreds of weddings: what to book when, what actually matters, and how to make your day feel like a celebration rather than a logistics exercise.
