The Couple
Shadi & Duncan met while studying at university. With Duncan’s work taking him overseas a lot of the time, their love has never wavered. Both our bride & groom are such genuine and lovely people. I got teary during their aisle walk. They were also so generous and spoiled us silly.
The Venue
The beautiful Pier One hotel - how could you not love the location, the interior and everything it has to offer. They chose the hotel as all of their loved ones could easily stay on-site, and everything was in one location. The ceremony & cocktail hour took place on the pier facing the Harbour Bridge, with the reception just inside.
The Highlights
The views were just spectacular, and a daytime wedding meant everyone got to make the most of them. The sun shone on Sydney Harbour and it was beautiful. The ceremony was filled with love, and the reception was truly Shadi & Duncan. We can’t forget all of the work Shadi put into the colour palette and DIY elements. Everything was so considered and it looked incredible.
The Hiccups
Let’s just say very strong winds & technology do not mix well. It all came together - but lots of lessons were learnt by all vendors haha.
