Swallowfield Vineyards in Gembrook is a family owned boutique vineyard & estate situated in the picturesque Yarra Valley, located just over one hour drive from Melbourne CBD and is the perfect backdrop for your wedding day or special event. Swallowfield offers you the unique advantage of having your wedding ceremony, photography and reception all at the same location. The abundance of truly stunning photographic opportunities on our property really does need to be seen to be believed. With 150 acres of beautiful lush grounds, two ornamental lakes, pine forest, rolling fields and the vineyard – your choice of photographic locations is plentiful. Your Ceremony can be held under oak trees overlooking our beautiful water feature, in our pine forest, or the stables, where the grand open fire will be roaring in the cooler months. You and your guests will enjoy exclusive use of our extensive facilities, as we host only one wedding per weekend. We are one of a few remaining fully BYO friendly venues. Bring in your own caterers, alcohol, food trucks, cocktail crew or wood fired pizza oven. The stables are fully customisable (think velvet lounges and red carpets or wine barrels and photo booths) with space for table configurations of your choice, as well as the all important dance floor. There are huge doors that can be opened with views out into the garden on to create and alfresco style space. Swallowfield Vineyards is perfect for the DIY bride or those couples looking for something truly individual to celebrate their perfect day. The reception area is also fully equipped with a commercial kitchen, including refrigerators. We can comfortably seat up to 100 for a sit down reception, tables and chairs are provided. Or for a cocktail style reception (with finger-food), we can accommodate up to 130. The use of all crockery, cutlery and glassware is also included in our hire fee. We believe the most important day of your life should not be the most expensive! You will have complete control over your budget, as we allow you to choose your own caterers or even self-cater.
