If I have e-mailed you a final quote, that is the final quote. If you are reading off my website and are unsure if/how much travel will be charged, you can use the following info as a quick guide - but please just get in touch for confirmation. If your wedding is taking place in the Sydney CBD or within half an hour’s drive from my home in Winston Hills, there will be no travel fee charged.

In addition to my fee (and potential travel fee) there is only one. It’s $67 for your official marriage certificate. This can only be ordered once the wedding documents have been submitted to Births, Deaths and Marriages, and this certificate will arrive via registered post. Pssst.. it’s the one you need to change your name, if that’s what you’d like to do! You can contact BDM on your own and order it, but it costs the same whether you do it, or I do it for you. The difference being it’s just a click of a button for me when I submit your wedding!

I have a very reliable PA system and corded mic. I have also rented a cordless mic when a couple have requested it. I always bring my corded mic just in case, as I like to know I have that as a back-up. Cordless mics have come a long way, but they’re not immune to technology fails! I also have a speaker stand to achieve proper sound projection, a foldable card table, and a white table cloth. I also use my Kindle to perform the ceremony. No big books to balance with the mic around here!

Absolutely. We work on this together collaboratively (but let’s be honest, I do most of the work and want to make your job as easy as possible!) I will send you a draft, with probably 110% of what I know you want, with the understanding that we will make little tweaks and chops along the way. It’s my job to ensure you know all of the options, so I’ll give you ideas - knowing you’ll say no to 95% of them. You will never offend me! I’ll suggest readings and rituals, even if you think you don’t want them - just so you have the full picture. The only thing you don’t get to see if the love story. Created from the questionnaire I send you both, it’s performed to you as a nice surprise gift from me on the day.
